All incoming students must be evaluated for English and mathematics achievement except:

a.  students who have completed one or more courses of college-level work, including English and math with a GPA of at least 2.00, or

b.  students who enroll for fewer than six credits.

All incoming students must meet established minimum English and mathematics achievement-level requirements before entry into degree or certificate programs.  The minimum achievement levels required will be established by program and will vary according to the demands of the program.  Necessary achievement levels will be based upon reasonable expectations of student performance in academic and professional/technical instructional programs.  The college reserves the right to deny program admission to those who do not attain established achievement levels required.

Students who do not meet minimum requirements will be advised into appropriate level courses.
